am Professor of Economics at Universitat
Rovira
i
Virgili. From 2009 to 2011, I was member of the dean's office and
responsible for undergraduate studies in economics.
I obtained my Ph.D. in 2002
from
the Universitat
Autònoma de Barcelona after pursuing
undergraduate studies at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum and
Université Louis Pasteur Strasbourg.
Before joining the faculty in Reus,
I spent two years as a Visiting Scholar at the Kellogg
School of
Management of Northwestern
University and taught at the Universidad de
Alicante as well as Universidad Carlos
III de Madrid. Recently, I visited twice for a total of eight
months the Department
of Economics at the University of
California, Irvine.
My research interests
include political economy, public economics,
incentives and health economics. My publications have appeared in the Journal of Public Economics and
the Journal of
the European Economic Association, among others.
